Outfitting a cigar lounge: the essentials

Most lounges are built around four things. Start with the room size and how many members or seats you plan for.

Display and sales: commercial display humidors for boxes and singles.
Member storage: cigar lockers, often rented monthly.
Humidification: Hydra electronic humidifiers for cabinets and lockers.
Air quality: smoke eaters sized to the room's air changes per hour.

Planning a locker program? Read what lounges charge for lockers and how fast a cabinet pays back.

Sizing for a room? Read our cigar room ventilation and smoke-eater sizing guide.

Opening a lounge? Read How to Open a Cigar Lounge: licensing, costs, ventilation, humidors and lockers, step by step.

See what works elsewhere: our lounge tours of Florida, Texas, New York City, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Chicago and Arizona, each with lessons for owners. Planning storage? Read walk-in humidor vs display cabinets.
