The same climate system, simpler trim
The Lite drops the decorative molding of the dark cherry Remington and keeps everything that protects the cigars: cooling, heating, electronic humidification and a sealed, de-misting glass door.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
A good fit if you keep 1,000–2,000 cigars in a modern room. Consider the Redford Lite (1,250 cigars, 52" tall) for a smaller collection.

Delivery and setup

Freight delivery. It ships on a pallet by freight. The carrier calls ahead to schedule a delivery window. Plan for two people to move it into place.

Measure first. The cabinet is 25" wide and 24" deep. Check doorways, hallways and stairs on the way to its spot.

Inspect before signing. Check the crate with the driver and note any damage on the delivery receipt. That note is what lets us handle a freight claim for you.

Before loading cigars. Let it stand upright for a day before switching it on, fill the reservoir with distilled water, and let it run empty for 24–48 hours until the readings settle.

What is the difference between the Remington Lite and the Remington?
Same capacity and climate system. The Lite is black oak without the molding; the Remington is dark cherry with embossed panels, slightly larger (26" x 26" x 74 ½").
Any tips for getting the best results?
Place a second hygrometer on a lower shelf for the first few weeks; in tall cabinets the bottom can read a few points more humid than the top, so set the controller by the middle and rotate boxes occasionally. If anything ever needs a part, contact us and we handle the claim with Prestige for you.
Is it in stock?

What humidity and temperature should I set?
Most collectors keep cigars at 65–70% humidity and 65–70°F, and never above 72°F. See ideal humidity and temperature for cigars.
