How we estimate real capacity

This humidor: about 3,000 cigars in boxes, or 4,000 mixed singles (label: 5,000).

Labels assume corona-size cigars stored loose. Bigger cigars and boxes take more room.

  • In boxes: we use the manufacturer's low end, or about 60% of the label.
  • Mixed singles: we use the middle of their range, or about 80%.

It's an estimate; your number depends on what you smoke. A simple rule: buy about twice the capacity you need today.

Your first weeks

  1. Delivery day: inspect everything and note any damage on the receipt. We handle the claim.
  2. Setup: we go through the settings with your staff by phone and send a one-page care sheet.
  3. First week: let the humidity settle, then add cigars in stages.
  4. Day 14: we check your humidity reading with you.

Exhaust ventilation is separate: purifiers clean the air, and your HVAC contractor handles fresh air and exhaust. Stock and delivery dates are confirmed in writing before you pay. Sales tax isn't included. Locker income depends on your prices and members.

Classic dark mahogany lockers for a traditional lounge

The same 14-compartment locker as our black model, finished in dark mahogany with brass pull knobs and crown molding for a traditional club look. Twelve members each get a locked, Spanish cedar-lined locker, with two larger sections at the base. It holds up to about 5,000 cigars.

A locker gives members a reason to come back: their cigars are already there, stored properly. Many lounges rent lockers for a monthly or annual fee, which turns a piece of furniture into recurring income, and each brass engraving plate carries the member's name.

Who it's for, and who it isn't

A good fit if you run a cigar lounge, private club or bar and want members to keep their own cigars on site, or you want individually locked storage for a family or office collection.

Delivery and setup

  • Freight delivery. It ships on a pallet by freight with liftgate delivery to your curb or driveway. The carrier normally calls ahead to schedule a delivery window. Plan for two people to move it into place.
  • Measure first. The cabinet is 38" wide and 18" deep and the shipping weight is about 300 lb. Check doorways, hallways and stairs on the way to its spot.
  • Inspect before signing. Check the crate with the driver and note any damage on the delivery receipt. That note is what lets us handle a freight claim for you.
  • Seasoning. New Spanish cedar arrives dry. Set up the humidifier, let the cabinet stabilize at around 65–70% humidity for several days, and confirm it on a hygrometer before loading cigars.

Frequently asked questions

Does it come with a humidifier?
No. Add a Hydra electronic humidifier; the manufacturer recommends a Hydra Turbo for this cabinet.

Are replacement locks available?
Yes. Replacement lock sets for this model are available from the manufacturer; ask us to order one.

What if I change my mind?
